about
This is a song about someone I knew whom I called my friend until he turned into a scary stalker douche asshole who lied about having cancer. That last one should be all you need to know about his douchebaggery.
As such, I wrote a song to a person I was seeing at the time that is meant to be a last letter before this "friend" kills us. Enjoy.
lyrics
Hey you
Yeah, you. Hello.
We don't really talk too much, do we?
So hello
I feel the need to see that text
Flash on the screen, I'll try my best
To see this through so I'll have you
And be there for you
Hey you
So how's your day?
I want to connect with you quickly my love
Before I go
The past is up and pushing me
Against a wall and killing me and
All I love will vanish so I
Have to explode
He was lying through and through
So I need to know from you
Now's he's hunting this friend down
So you need to know
As death is knocking on my door
I hope this heart won't leave you sore
As pain I see in your mixed mess
I hope that this won't hurt the rest
And I wish I'd hear before I'd go
The words you'd whisper to me slow
You know, the ones I meant for you:
“I love you”
