Spaceships 04:22
We seem to be moving on through different paths Me, I'll hang to the left while you You will stay to the stars Shooting towards a bright dawn I'll stay here on this earth Awaiting desperately for your fall Yet I fear our goals are too extreme to work As this machine breaks apart Desperately trying to keep you I'm faced with harshness The reality I face This is not the wish I prayed And while I am stuck in this limbo Of what world ours becomes Will my earth collide with yours? Or will your moon stay separate? Everyday I wonder If you have reached that dawn? It has already been twelve years So long of a time to know you I heard you built a new machine Even though it has the same gears I feel as though your earth stays in orbit While I become an astroid. Desperately trying to keep you I'm faced with harshness The reality I face This is not the wish I prayed And while I am stuck in this limbo Of what world ours becomes Will my earth collide with yours? Or will your moon stay separate? Desperately trying to keep you I fear I'm forgotten The dream I now face It's not the wish I prayed And while I am stuck in this limbo I hang to the left and you the stars My earth did not collide with yours So your moon flies away

I can still remember the day When I thought the world would crash And the only words you'd say They killed me at that time We were young, and it all mattered And I said I would sing you my songs But in an instant, everything shattered And killed me at that time Oh, oh, a tragic end for the small Oh, oh, a tragic end for the small I can still remember the day When you said it would be too far And you wouldn't like to stay That killed me at that time I said I'd take that chance It's no big deal, no reply But looking back at it all It killed me at that time Oh, oh, a tragic end for the small Oh, oh, a tragic end for the small And yet sometimes I will wonder Where are you now? Are you happy, down on that path Would I have slowed you down? And yet sometimes I'll remember That we were young, we were young That's all it was and It killed me at that time It killed me at that time It killed me at that time It killed me at that time Oh, oh, a tragic end for the small Oh, oh, a tragic end for the small Oh, oh, a tragic end for the small Oh, oh, a tragic end for the small

Talk to Me 03:24
Slow down We've got an awful lot to say Hold on You've got an awful streak to your name And I'm confused by By all the different paths you take And I'm confused by By all the choices you will make And I'm confused by By all the chances you will take And I'm confused by By all the differences we'll make I hear this failing, I hear this failing I hear this failing heart of mine, it's falling into yours I hear this failing, I hear this failing I hear this failing heart of mine, it's falling into yours Slow down We've got an awful lot to say Hold on You've got an awful streak to your name And I'm alarmed by By all the calm that's on your face And I'm alarmed by By all the words that leave this place And I'm alarmed by By all the pain that's on your face And I'm alarmed by By all the tears now on your face I hear this failing, I hear this failing I hear this failing heart of mine, it's falling into yours I hear this failing, I hear this failing I hear this failing heart of mine, it's falling into yours I hear this failing, I hear this failing I hear this failing heart of mine, it's falling into yours I hear this failing, I hear this failing I hear this failing heart of mine, it's falling into yours

about

This is my Writer's Craft final assignment. We were asked to write three passages in the style of three writers based on a topic. I was told I could do songwriters so I wrote three songs in the style of three of my favorite songwriters: Hyde (Vocalist of L'Arc~en~Ciel), Dallas Green, and Sara Quin. The topic was a high school couple breaking up because they are going to different universities. These are some rough demos that I am handing in to my teacher.
